What “more” means to me this year

Solopreneurship is a lot easier with the right people.

The Reach offers twice-weekly coworking calls and built-in accountability, so your work doesn’t live only in your head (or your to-do list).

Craving structure and collaboration? You’ll feel at home here.

Hi Reader,

For the past few years, I’ve chosen a word of the year. It’s something I return to when I’m making decisions or navigating challenges.

Last year, my word was self-trust. After a rocky late-pandemic period, my confidence was low.

But as I made big moves—launching The Reach Club, refining my positioning, and stepping away from a part-time role—self-trust became an anchor.

Any time I felt stuck, I asked myself: If I trusted myself, what would I do right now?

This year, my word is collaboration.

I’ve always been a “do everything myself” person who struggles to ask for help (very eldest daughter of me, IYKYK).

But over time, I’ve learned that solopreneurship doesn’t actually have to be solo.

I have admin support. A community of other creative solos. Incredible group chats that keep me sane.

But this year, I want more.

I don’t have it all mapped out yet. I just know I don’t want my work to move only through me or live only in my own corners of the internet.

Last year, I learned how to listen to myself.

This year, I’m practicing letting others in without abandoning that inner compass.

The question I’m asking now is simple, and a little scary:

Who could I invite into this instead of carrying it solo?”

Do you have a word for 2026, Reader? And if you do, how do you plan to live it this year?

Reply and let me know. I’d love to hear.

’Til next time!

Big (virtual) hugs,

✨ What’s happening inside The Reach

Recently, members were talking through ideal client mix—how many clients feel sustainable, when retainers make sense versus project work, and how those choices affect energy and income, etc.
Another moment I loved: Trista shared a new way she’s celebrating wins. She's writing them down, folding them up, and adding them to a jar. The idea is to open the jar at the end of the year to remind herself of all the great things that happened.
